What we’re noticing:
- Not much! This is the easy time of year. Grass likes growing
What we’re doing:
- Finishing up the last of our Early Summer Apps. We started a week later than last year due to weather and we’ll finish a week later.
- We wrapped up any of our Spring renovation/seeding jobs except for a few stragglers that we’ll finish this week.
- We’re starting our landscape bed applications next week and first round of mosquito application after that.
What you can be doing:
- Mowing regularly. This time of year the grass is growing like crazy. Weekly mowing is likely cutting too much grass blade off and/or leaving a bunch of thatch on top of the grass that will suffocate what’s beneath it. More frequent mowing is necessary this time of year.
