What We’re Noticing:
- A very unique Spring. It feels like normal but it’s actually been going on for like 2 months! We had 70* in Feb and no significant winter since. We’ve been monitoring all climate related signs of Crabgrass germination. We’re not there yet but with above average end-of-April temperature forecasts it looks like we’ll get there about two weeks prior to the all-time average date which is 5/16.
What We’re Doing:
- We are full-steam ahead on finishing up our Early Spring Applications and getting down our Crabgrass Preventer.
- We’re also planning on Jumping into our Mosquito treatment services 2-3 weeks early this year and our Spring Seeding 1-2 weeks early this year.
What you can be doing:
- No need to do much this time of year. Grass wants to be going!
- Light raking is fine
- No need to water
